Our services

Assistive technology assessments

We assess your everyday needs and then recommend assistive technology to support how you move, communicate and live at home. From beds to smart devices, each recommendation is made with your comfort and accessibility in mind.

Supporting independence and less reliance on carers

Aimed to improve daily functioning

Potential funding through NDIS or Support at Home Program

Falls risk assessments

A falls risk assessment helps identify aspects of your home or daily routine that could increase your risk of injury. We provide clear, practical recommendations to help make your living space easier to navigate.

Designed to reduce the risk of falls

Fostering confidence around the home

Personalised care for you and your family

Home modifications

Need an accessible bathroom or a kitchen redesign for wheelchair access?

We believe your home should support the way you live. We also know that home modifications are more than just structural changes – they’re carefully considered adaptations that make daily life more manageable and more comfortable.

Our Occupational Therapists have overseen countless renovations across Australia, working closely with builders and support teams to ensure every recommendation is functional, compliant and tailored to your goals.

Each plan is grounded in real-world experience and a deep understanding of mobility and independence.

Home modifications that align with NDIS and Aged Care criteria.

End-to-end support from assessment to final outcome.

Thoughtful design modifications built around your particular needs.

Functional capacity assessments

A functional capacity assessment helps determine how your current environment and routines impact your independence. We assess your ability to manage daily activities, which can support NDIS or Aged Care planning.

Identify where you need support

Inform care plans and funding applications

Comprehensive reporting for NDIS or Aged Care

SIL reports (Supported Independent Living)

We prepare occupational therapy reports to support SIL funding applications, detailing how supported accommodation can meet your needs and goals. These reports provide a clear picture of how you live and what you need to thrive.

Meet NDIS requirements for SIL

Clear, evidence-based recommendations

Tailored to your lifestyle goals

We also provide Skill Development Programs that support individuals to help build confidence and independence in everyday life.

Delivered by experienced Occupational Therapists, these programs are tailored to each participant’s goals and functional capacity – focusing on meaningful outcomes like using public transport, managing routines, or building life skills at home and in the community.

What does an OT assessment include?

Every assessment by Enabled Designs starts with listening. We visit your home, review how you live, and consider any risks or barriers.

You’ll receive a written report that supports your application or outlines the next steps to create a more accessible home.

Funding & eligibility

Enabled Designs supports both NDIS participants and those receiving Aged Care funding. Our team helps you understand what you’re eligible for and guides you through the application process.
